THANKS & GIVING
BRING A TOY - Donation Drop-off Thanksgiving Morning!
THANKSGIVING - Gratitude & Giving
In the spirit of the holiday - the Charlotte Turkey Trot embraces giving back to the Charlotte community. Partnering with Charlotte-based groups focused on helping those in need, 20% of all sponsorship income is donated to the event's charity partners. Additionally, the event focuses on promoting the work of our community partners and being a catalyst for their growth – with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department Holiday Toy Drive being our primary beneficiary.

CMPD Explorers Christmas Project
A synergistic partnership with our sponsors and media partners – The CPI Security Charlotte Turkey Trots serves as the kick-off event for the annual holiday toy drive, promoting the initiative citywide. The event makes a foundational $20,000 cash donation while collecting thousands of toys from our generous participants. In response to our participant feedback the opportunity to donate directly to the Toy Drive will now be available in the registration process.
